Hansh calls out for content created by disabled and deaf people

6 November 2020

S4C is looking for a production company to develop, stimulate and produce a scheme to create short-form content for Hansh by disabled and / or deaf people.

As part of S4C's commitment to increase diversity, the channel is looking for a package of content that will be an opportunity to develop and showcase the producing talent of disabled and / or deaf people.

The successful company will need to actively recruit and gather a team of people who can be part of the scheme, from performers to writers, with the aim of empowering the individuals to create high quality entertainment content.

Development work should include workshops for a group of individuals who want to have their voices heard on Hansh.

These sessions will be an opportunity to gain confidence, learn about the production process and to see their ideas come to life as they are published across Hansh platforms.

Five to ten pieces of content are expected to be produced, and the ideas will need to clearly show the structure of the plan, including the three elements of development, production and publication and show a creative vision for the project.

The closing date is 17:00 Monday, 16th November, 2020.
