S4C has today announced a post for a new Board Secretary.
With the channel having recently submitted a funding application to the UK Government's Department of Digital Technology, Culture, Media and Sport as well as launching a new strategy for the next five years, this is a unique opportunity to be part of an exciting development in S4C's history.

The S4C Unitary Board is responsible for providing S4C's services, is accountable for the expenditure of public funds, for appointing the Chief Executive and Secretary, and for ensuring effective arrangements for obtaining viewers' comments.
Rhodri Williams, S4C's Chairman, said: "It is an extremely important time in S4C's history as we set about establishing a multi-platform digital content service that will meet the diverse needs of our viewers and consumers.
"We have a clear direction for our work and we need to respond with enthusiasm to the challenge that we face.
"This is a golden opportunity for an individual with governance experience in the public or private sectors to help us tackle this challenge.
"This is a vital post that will ensure a collaborative and effective relationship between the Board and the Management Team.
"We are looking for someone with strong analytical ability, an eye for detail and experience of producing accurate and timely documents and advising on important corporate issues.
"The post is a great opportunity for someone to make a significant contribution to the future of broadcasting in Wales and to the growth of the Welsh language "
