Boom Cymru and Slam Media were responsible for the coverage.

S4C Chief Executive Siân Doyle said:

"It's been an amazing week in the Show and I'm really proud that S4C has been able to bring exclusive coverage to viewers.

"The Royal Welsh Show is one of the main events in the agricultural calendar in Wales and it was great to be able to celebrate our rural content with partners at the Show.

"Thanks very much to Boom Cymru, Slam and all the team for ensuring that the excitement of the Show was available to enjoy across all S4C platforms."

Boom Cymru Managing Director Nia Thomas added:

"On behalf of Boom Cymru and Slam Media, it has been a pleasure to bring all the excitement of the Show to a variety of S4C platforms, and reaching an audience who enjoy watching live, and on demand on social media, YouTube and Clic.

"The numbers show that viewing figures for all the content from this special event have increased again this year, and that our viewers come to us from first thing in the morning until night and from all over the world.

"We are looking forward to seeing the numbers increasing over the weeks to come as the audience looks back at some of the most memorable moments from the best show in the world on demand on S4C's various services."

Also during the week S4C presented a Memorial Cup in memory of the popular broadcaster and farmer Dai Jones Llanilar.

The cup was presented to the winner of the Team of Five in the Beef Cattle category, which was Dai's favourite category.
