A number of S4C programmes were successful at the BAFTA Cymru awards evening tonight (Sunday, 5th October 2025).
Bethan Rhys Roberts was the winner of this year's Sian Phillips Award for her outstanding contribution to the world of broadcasting, and Bethan also won the award for Best Presenter for her work presenting the 2024 Election.
On receiving the award, Bethan thanked the team at BBC Wales who produced the Election 2024 programme and S4C's Newyddion service.
Other winners tonight included the programme Marw Gyda Kris (Ffilmiau Twm Twm) in the Factual Series category. S4C received all nominations in the Children's Programme category with Deian a Loli (Cwmni Da) coming out on top this time.
Llion Iwan, S4C's Chief Content Officer, said:
"Watching all the nominations tonight reminded us again of the strength of the manufacturing sector in Wales and all credit to everyone responsible for them.
"I would like to thank the winners who produced S4C content with a wide range of genres and original stories."
Owain Wyn Evans was hosting the evening this year at the Wales International Convention Centre (the ICC) in Newport, which was an opportunity to celebrate talent across film and television in Wales.
