Six nations inspired steak sandwich

Ingredients

  • Aberdeen Angus steak
  • mushrooms
  • red onions
  • bread panini
  • chilli flex
  • per las cheese
  • lettuce
  • watercress

For the dressing

  • 2 tbsp mayo
  • tabasco
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lea and perrin

Method

  1. Cut the panini bread and pour some olive oil on it, add a touch of salt and pepper and chilli flakes if you like a spice.
  2. Season the steak with oil, salt and pepper.
  3. Remove the mushroom "stalks" then place on the grill.
  4. Slice the onions into 1cm pieces, place on the grill.
  5. While everything is cooking, make a sauce / dressing for the sandwich.
  6. To layer the sandwich, spread sauce on the bread, add lettuce and watercress.
  7. Add the dressing, onions and mushrooms.
  8. Remove the steak from the grill and keep for a while. Cut the steak and add to the sandwich. Add salt and pepper, then pieces of cheese per blue.
  9. Cover with bread then enjoy!
