4 March 2020

To celebrate World Book Day on Thursday 5 March, S4C Clic will showcase three classic book adaptations; Martha, Jac a Sianco, Sigaret? and Dirgelwch yr Ogof.

Martha, Jac a Sianco is a powerful, dramatic film from 2008 that follows two brothers and sisters on the family farm, Graig Ddu.

It's based on the successful novel by Caryl Lewis and the cast includes Sharon Morgan, Ifan Huw Dafydd and Geraint Lewis.

Morfudd Hughes, Eryl Phillips, John Ogwen and Marged Esli play the lead roles in Sigaret, a powerful take on Gymerwch chi Sigaret? by Saunders Lewis.

Based on T. Llew Jones's novel of the same name, Dirgelwch yr Ogof is set in the 18th century and tells the tale of Cwmtydu smugglers.

The cast includes Mali Harris, Huw Rhys, Lowri Steffan and William Thomas.

The films will be available to watch for a limited time only, so head over to S4C Clic's Box Sets section to watch them before they disappear.
