From 4 January 2021 onwards S4C will move to channel 104 on Virgin Media in Wales.

The decision to move the channel on the Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) follows discussions between Virgin Media, S4C and Ofcom.

The move will only apply to Virgin Media in Wales. S4C will remain on channel 166 across the other parts of Britain.

"We are extremely pleased with this decision" says Elin Morris, Chief Operating Officer for S4C.

"The move will ensure greater prominence for S4C as the channel will be seen on the front page of the EPG's and will make it easier for viewers in Wales. S4C plays a vital role in reflecting Welsh culture and society, and we'd like to thank Virgin Media and Ofcom for their support."
