    A brand new comedy artist development scheme is being launched in Wales as a collaborationbetween Channel 4, S4C and Little Wander in order to seek out and develop new talent. The three organisations have partnered to create a new scheme for emerging Welsh (and Wales-based) comedy talent, provide career development opportunities and open the door to futurecreative commissions.

    An S4C spokesperson said:

    "S4C welcomes the proposals in the King's Speech to support the creative industries.

    "The introduction of the Media Bill during this parliamentary term will confirm S4C's position as a multi-platform Welsh-language content provider across the UK and beyond.

    "The new framework will ensure that indigenous languages, including Welsh, are part of the new public service remit for television in the UK.

    "The Bill will extend legislation for online TV viewing, and ensure that S4C Clic is available on connected TVs and prominent on TV sets in Wales.

    "This will allow us to further develop our services and place Welsh-language content on the main platforms across the UK."

    Coverage of the tournament will be presented by Sarra Elgan, Jason Mohammad and Lauren Jenkins.

    Commentator Gareth Charles will bring all the action and joining him will be expert analysts Mike Phillips, Gwyn Jones, Siwan Lillicrap, Rhys Priestland, Dyddgu Hywel, Robin McBryde and Rhys Patchell.
