S4C is set to become the destination for children to relax and enjoy this Christmas, with a packed line-up of festive programmes. There will be a premiere of a story about a unique reindeer named Nolig, and an original tale about a brave little girl in a forest in Ysbryd yr Oerfel. Christmas classics like Deian a Loli will return, along with special episodes of popular cartoons such as Blŵi, Shrek, and Madagascar — the kids are going to love it.

The competition will be broadcast live from the Anglesey Showground in Mona on Saturday, 28 February 2026.

Celebrated Wales international Rhys Patchell has officially announced his retirement from professional rugby. His journey, including his time in Japan and the decision to step away from the game, is captured in a new S4C documentary.
The 32-year-old confirmed the news ahead of a three-part documentary on S4C, Rhys Patchell: Japan a’r Gic Olaf (Rhys Patchell: Japan and the Last Kick) which begins on S4C on 24 September at 20:25.
