S4C is working with Giddy Goat Productions and Venue Cymru – the organisers of the Craft of Comedy Conference in Llandudno on 9 April 2016.

As such there are 8 complimentary tickets for producers who feel they would benefit from the day.

The aim of the conference is to discuss writing and producing comedy. The day runs from 09:30 until 17:00. The ticket gives access for the whole day (but doesn't include the evening meal).

At the moment the conference programme includes sessions on:

• A workshop on creating characters for sitcoms and sketches
• Stand up – starting out and building a career
• Topical comedy workshop – how to write and sell jokes about the news
• Online/Podcasts "The digital future is the digital present"
• Comedy in Wales – the state of the Nation
• Sketches from scratch
• Books - the past, present and future of written comedy publishing
• A special screening of Veep
• Radio – The UKs biggest comedy commissioner is Radio 4
