S4C and the Royal Welsh Agricultural Show are together honouring one of Wales' most prominent broadcasters.
Today (Tuesday 23 July), in remembrance of the late Dai Jones, who was a familiar face on the S4C for years, the S4C building at the Royal Welsh Showground will be re-named 'Corlan Dai Llanilar' (Dai Llanilar's sheep pen).

The hours of content watched on S4C's digital platform S4C Clic or on iPlayer have increased by almost a third in a year. In its Annual Report 2023-24, S4C reports an increase of 31% in hours watched on demand since the previous year – the best figure in the broadcaster's history.

S4C enjoys highest weekly viewing hours for S4C for fifteen years - thanks to National Eisteddfod programmes
S4C has seen significant growth in the number of viewing hours and reach of the channel over the week of the National Eisteddfod this year (7 – 13 August) with viewing figures over three times the usual weekly level on S4C.
Audiences of all ages have responded to the programmes and the level of appreciation for all the content during the Rhondda Cynon Taf National Eisteddfod in Pontypridd was at its highest for five years across the channel's platforms.
