Do you want to do something different to practise your Welsh face-to-face? October will be Wythnos Dathlu Dysgu, with a special emphasis on learners on both BBC Radio Cymru and S4C.
We're offering special opportunities to go on a behind-the-scenes tour at three locations. Staff from the broadcasters and their partners will be there to help you learn more about Welsh media, and a tutor from the Centre for Learning Welsh will be there to support you.
All tours will take place on the same night: Wednesday, October 15, 2025, 6:30pm. Details of the venues and how to book are below. Numbers are limited on each trip, so it’s first-come, first-served. They are suitable for learners at Intermediate, Higher and Proficiency levels.
BBC Cymru Wales, Central Square, Cardiff
Join friendly guides on a behind-the-scenes BBC tour at Central Square. Practise your Welsh with other learners and step into the future of broadcasting at BBC's newest and most advanced studios.
Cost: £15 with concessions available

Canolfan S4C Yr Egin, Carmarthen
Yr Egin is S4C's headquarters, and much more. Come and visit us to learn about how this community hub is driving creativity and collaboration in Carmarthenshire and the South West.
Cost: £5 per person

Aria Film Studios, Llangefni
Aria is home to some of Rownd a Rownd's sets. Come and visit Siop yr Iard, as well as the characters' homes, and learn more about how one of our favourite Welsh-language programmes is created.
