 S4C will broadcast live coverage of the FA Cup third round match between local Championship rivals Bristol City and Cardiff City at Ashton Gate.

The derby, to be shown on Saturday, 2 January at 12.15pm, will be presented by S4C’s Sgorio team as the Channel follows the progress of Welsh clubs in the FA Cup, sponsored by Eon.

The match will further enhance the Sgorio series which also shows action from La Liga in Spain, Serie A in Italy, The Principality Welsh Premier and Welsh international football on Monday and Saturday nights on S4C.

The coverage includes English language subtitles and the match will also be available to watch live on the S4C website, s4c.co.uk

Highlights of Swansea City’s third round tie versus Leicester City, as well as highlights of Bristol City v Cardiff City, will be shown on Sgorio Cymru later the same evening at 21.30 on S4C.

S4C is available on all platforms in Wales and on Sky 134 and Freesat 120 in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
