S4C is to broadcast a special extended news programme Newyddion Arbennig: April Jones at 9.35pm tonight (Thursday 30 May, English subtitles) after Mark Bridger was found guilty of the abduction and murder of April Jones.
The special programme will be broadcast straight after the Newyddion S4C news round-up at 9.15.
Nine months after the five year old girl went missing from her hometown of Machynlleth, Mark Bridger, 47 of Ceinws near Machynlleth, was found guilty on three counts at Mold Crown Court on Thursday, 30 May.
He was found guilty of the abduction and murder of April Jones and of attempting to pervert the course of justice.
Only the murderer knows what happened to the five year old’s body after he kidnapped her. The special programme Newyddion Arbennig: April Jones, produced by BBC Cymru Wales, will look in detail at this dark chapter in the history of Machynlleth.
The programme will be available to watch online on s4c.co.uk/clic and on demand for 35 days following first broadcast.
