S4C will broadcast a number of programmes as a tribute to the actor from Eifionydd, Stewart Jones who has died aged 83.
On Thursday 11 August, viewers can see an episode of the comedy series ‘Glas y Dorlan' and the following night the actor traces his Scottish roots in the documentary ‘Stewart Whyte McEwan Jones'. Also on Friday, we'll see Stewart in one of his most well-known roles, ‘Ifas y Tryc'.
On Sunday 14 August at 9pm, S4C will screen the film ‘Oed yr Addewid’ with Stewart in the leading role – a performance which won a BAFTA Cymru award for the actor born in Edinburgh but brought up in Eifionydd.
