S4C unveils Guinness Pro 12 TV matches for the new-look Clwb Rygbi

S4C’s Clwb Rygbi matches for the 2014-2015 season kick off in Italy with the Guinness Pro 12 Zebre v Blues match live on the channel on Sunday, 7 September.

The Guinness Pro 12 match (kick off 4.00pm) live from Zebre’s Aprile Stadium will be part of S4C’s new Sunday afternoon all-handling all-kicking sports show Clwb which will also include a sizzling package of live action and highlights from a raft of different sports.

S4C’s Clwb Rygbi will now broadcast free-to-view live matches from the Guinness Pro 12 and other club competitions on Sunday afternoons.

English commentary on the red button/audio select option and English subtitles will be available on the live coverage.

Clwb Rygbi will broadcast a number of Welsh derbies live including Scarlets v Dragons on Sunday 5 October and Ospreys v Blues on Sunday 12 October.

In the New Year S4C will televise the Scarlets v Ospreys and Ospreys v Dragons derbies.

Other confirmed live matches for the first weeks of the season include Blues v Glasgow on Sunday 14 September, Ospreys v Glasgow on Sunday 21 September and Dragons v Treviso on Sunday 28 September. All the matches to kick off at 4.00pm.

S4C and BBC Cymru Wales recently announced a four-year deal to broadcast free-to-air live Guinness Pro 12 matches.

Clwb Rygbi, a BBC Cymru Wales production for S4C, is set to unveil a fresh presentation team in the coming few weeks.

S4C recently announced the launch of Clwb, a Sunday afternoon sports show presented by Dylan Ebenezer.

Produced by Rondo Media live from the Caernarfon studio, it will feature live Welsh Premier League football on most weekends, cycling, rallying, running, athletics and many other sports.
