Christmas Meringues

An easy and tasty recipe for Christmas... but which one will be the best, Cadi or Jack?

Christmas Meringues

100g Egg whites

100g White sugar

Christmas sprinkles

Crack the eggs and separate the egg whites and the yolk into separate bowls.

Whisk the egg whites until white and fluffy.

Add the sugar one table spoon at the time until all is combined. When the mixture is white and thick separate the mixture into three different piping bags with different nozzles.

Pipe the meringue mixture onto an oven tray lined with baking paper. Use the different nozzles to form a Christmas wreath. You can also add sprinkles before placing in the oven.

Place in the oven at 160C for an hour. After an hour turn the oven off but leave the meringues in for an extra 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, take the meringues out of the oven and leave to cool.

You could place a ribbon around the top of the wreath and place on the tree!
