Terms and Conditions: Refund Process
Cân i Gymru 2024

1. The following terms and conditions are relevant:

- These S4C Refund Terms

- These S4C Website Terms and Conditions

(the above are referred to collectively as the "Terms"). By completing the refund form, you agree to be bound by all relevant Terms and the related privacy notice.

2. These Terms are relevant to the refunding of costs associated with voting for Cân i Gymru on the 1st of March 2024 between the opening and closing time of the vote as announced during the live programme.

3. You will be able to claim a refund for all calls save for the first.

4. You must show evidence of any payment associated with the phone numbers 09009510101, 09009510102, 09009510103, 09009510104, 09009510105, 09009510106, 09009510107, and 09009510108.

5. Your completed form must be submitted by 31 May 2024. We will not be able to process refunds for any claims made after this date.

6. If you have any queries about the process, you should contact S4C's Viewers Hotline by emailing cig2024@s4c.cymru or calling them on 0370 600 4141.

7. You will be notified as to whether or not you will receive a refund within 21 days of receiving your claim.

8. If you are informed that you will not receive a refund, you may appeal this decision by contacting S4C's Viewers Hotline (using the contact details set out in paragraph 6 above) within 14 days of receiving your decision, setting out your grounds for appeal and providing any relevant evidence. S4C will consider your appeal and will inform you of the result within 10 working days of receipt of your appeal.

9. If you remain unhappy you may contact Ofcom or the Phone-Paid Services Authority (PSA).

10. S4C is not responsible for any costs incurred by you in association with this process.

11. By completing the refund form, you agree, confirm and guarantee that:

a. all the information provided by you to S4C is correct and complete;

b. you are the bill-payer, or you have the bill-payer's permission to complete this form and/or to receive the refund on their behalf.

12. S4C will verify the validity of the forms received by comparing them with the call log provided by the televoting provider. S4C may refuse any claim for a refund if we have reasonable grounds to believe that the claim is not valid.

13. You must complete the refund form in order to be considered for a refund, we are unable to receive requests through other methods. You are welcome to contact S4C's Viewers Hotline (using the contact details set out in paragraph 6 above) if you have any difficulty completing the form.

14. S4C excludes any liability for any applications not received before the closing date due to any technical error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay.

15. If you are notified that you are to receive a refund, you can expect to receive the payment within 28 days as a bank payment or (by specific request) cheque. The refund shall be paid on a full and final settlement basis. Any payments due as a result of a successful appeal will be made as soon as is reasonably practicable.

16. S4C excludes any liability to the full extent permitted by law for any loss, damage or injury suffered in connection with this process.

17. Unless otherwise agreed, S4C will only use the personal data provided for the purposes of carrying out the refund process. Any personal data relating to claims will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation. 18. These Terms are subject to the laws of England and Wales and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
