After productions shown on S4C won 13 of the 31 awards at the BAFTA Cymru 2012 Ceremony, S4C Chief Executive Ian Jones said:
“This success shows the wealth of exciting and interesting programmes that are consistently available on S4C. This year S4C programmes have taken over a third of BAFTAs awarded. It is a remarkable recognition for us - and for all those producers with whom we work in order to create the highest quality product. We're very grateful to BAFTA Cymru for the recognition that there are so many special programmes on S4C for the people of Wales to enjoy.
