Fun for all the family with S4C's Cyw at the London Welsh Centre

08 October 2013

On Friday 11 October and Saturday 12 October Rachael Solomon and Einir Dafydd, two of S4C's Cyw presenters, along with the fun-loving pirate Ben Dant will be visiting London to meet some of the children who enjoy S4C's Cyw Service there.

On the Friday all three will visit the London Welsh School to sing and dance with the children. Then on the Saturday Rachael, Einir and Ben Dant will be making an appearance at the London Welsh Centre's Hwyl and Halibalŵ Festival – the Fun and Hullabaloo Festival.

This will be the second Hwyl and Halibalŵ Festival which welcomes local Welsh play groups Cwtch, Dreigiau bach and Miri Mawr. Rachael, Einir and Ben Dant will be at the festival which is on between 10.30am and 12.30pm singing and dancing with the children as well as reading a story to the little ones.

There will also be a bouncy castle, arts and craft stalls and a chance for children to have their face painted. There is an entry fee of £10 per family.

The Festival which was held for the first time last year is going from strength to strength and the new Halibalŵ Llundain website will be launched on the morning of the festival. All proceeds from the day will go to the Welsh London Playgroups in order to give Welsh-speaking families with young children the opportunity to learn, play and socialise in Welsh.

You can follow Gŵyl Hwyl a Halibalŵ on Twitter and like them on Facebook for the latest information.
