Ammanford AFC against Caernarfon Town is Sgorio’s live game in the JD Welsh Cup fourth round.
Sgorio will be broadcasting live from the Rec for the first time ever on Friday, 24 January 2020, with kick-off at 8pm.
It will be quite the occasion as Ammanford of the Cymru South, the second level of the Welsh pyramid, welcome the Cofis, who lie fourth in the Cymru Premier table.
After a four-goal thrashing of premier club Carmarthen in the third round, Ammanford will be hoping for another cup upset, in order to reach the Last Eight for the first time since 1988.
Gavin Jones scored a ten-minute brace before Magic Daps himself, Lee Trundle, put the icing on the cake with two other quality goals.
Caernarfon reached the semi-finals of the cup in 2017, but with the Cofis never having reached a Welsh Cup final, Sean Eardley will be hoping for a good cup run this year.
The Canaries secured their place in the fourth round after a four-nil win against Goytre United – two goals for Darren Thomas and one each for Leo Smith and Nathan Craig.
All the action will be broadcast live with English language commentary available via the red button.
On this day in 1966, Swansea Town played their first European match on home soil as Slavia Sofia visited the Vetch.
